At the heart of TrakCare is the ePR that aggregates relevant patient care data from all the departments and presents it to the clinician in an intuitive, easy-to-use format.
TrakCare Patient Administration System (PAS) is a Patient Administration Module that enables a hospital to easily and effectively manage appointment scheduling and referrals, recall management, waiting lists, outpatients and emergency patients, as well as the rostering of hospital resources in various departments throughout the hospital. Central to patient management is the ability to define patient and data flows. TrakCare implements the concept of patient queues for accurate patient tracking.
TrakCare Clinicals provides a set of tools that assist in the management of patient clinical information. It incorporates Clinical Workbench which enables clinicians to manage their responsibilities and improve patient care. This facility includes CPOE for medication management and electronic orders for pathology, diagnostic imaging and allied health services.
TrakCare Lab is a comprehensive pathology laboratory system for the complete and accurate capture and storage of patient test specimen data. Designed specifically to streamline the diverse activities of laboratories in the areas of hematology, blood bank, biochemistry, immunology, serology, microbiology, histology/cytology, specimen/request registration and tracking, and accounts receivable.
TrakCare Community is a specific tool set for the management of care relating to services such as Community Health, Mental Health, Palliative Care, Allied Health and District Nursing. Information stored within TrakCare Community is made available through remote access from the patient’s home or aged care facility ensuring continuity of care after the patient has been discharged from hospital.
TrakCare Radiology is a comprehensive Radiology Information System (RIS) that provides a web-based software solution for all patient and image information requirements. The module streamlines the verification, authorization and placement of orders and incorporates a number of reporting options through its web-based Integrated Medical Imaging System.
TrakCare Emergency is an Emergency Department module with specific requirements such as Triage and automatic transfers of patients to the Inpatient ward. TrakCare Emergency allows for easy data-entry and retrieval, and for tasks such as triage, patient tracking, and medical record requests, medical, clinical and drug alerts. The system enables staff to record patient movements with a simple “drag and drop” functionality.
TrakCare Pharmacy is a drug information and stock control system that supports the Inpatient pharmacy (unidose or bulk dispensing) and the Outpatient pharmacy. TrakCare Pharmacy includes bar code capabilities to streamline the pharmacy inventory and to track drugs lot numbers and expiration dates. The system monitoring provides alerts and adverse drug event (ADE) warnings as part of the patient safety program and clinical pathways.
